Purchased to decorate a birthday cake for an 8 and 9 year old. They worked perfectly, they were the perfect cupcake. I grease my pan with oil and use the time and temperature of the cake pan to bake these cakes. I make 16 cupcakes in all, and only once did I have trouble getting them out. But that's because I forgot to light my pan. Even then it still came out pretty easy, only 2 pieces which was fine because I cut them all in two 3 layers so the kids had to fold them themselves. It also allowed them to choose multiple flavors. They liked it! I placed my daughter's cake next to a thin mint box for size reference.
