Even when new I don't think my stock lift legs have ever fully raised my 2008 wrx tailgate. They were pretty easy to install and now my tailgate lifts up by itself! While I have to say it's a bit slow, it's better than pushing it by hand. Note: Upon opening the package, I noticed the ball seat was misaligned and was briefly apprehensive. I went to their website and in their FAQ they mention that this is not a problem. Once you attach the ball joint to the socket, the assembly will rotate into place. Also, it took me a while to get the ball joint into the socket far enough for the clip to snap into place. Update 10/11/2016: The supplied screws are now completely covered in rust, but the jacks still work great. Downgraded to 4 for rust.
