Fits Impreza 2.5i 2008

Perfect fit. Installation is easy and quick. They stretch longer than regular ones, but unlike regular ones, they don't break in half, so it's pretty nice. They also make closing the hatch more difficult, but I expected that.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Clarity

you are doing great work on shocks, struts and suspension

Just installed these on my 20011 Subaru Impreza. Installation took about half an hour. They have good guides and videos on their website. I liked how they recommended using a folding ladder as a safety prop. Everything works like the original lifts.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Heavy duty shocks, struts and suspension

Definitely raises the bar. Yes, you will have to use a little more muscle power to close the hatch. No, it won't add so much power that you're in danger or worried about accidentally opening the hatch. Would definitely buy them again if I needed another set but it's been a week and I love them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Not quite right but works

Fitment was easy and they seem to fit, but when the trunk is opened it slows down halfway to a stop then suddenly accelerates and reaches the limit with such force that it literally shakes the whole car. They are much stiffer than the originals and require two hands to close the trunk. It is no longer possible to close the hatch only with the handle inside, for this you have to put both hands on the outside and press down. However, it is best not to support the sunroof with your shoulders whenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Good replacement for the 2014 WRX Hatch Struts

I've tried different hatch posts on our ranger and my wrx hatch over the years and I can't stand hatches that require force to open or gain open not by itself. These racks solve that problem. They open the hair faster than I'd like and dangle a bit from the connection/mount to the body, but the good thing for me is that the hatch opens every time and takes almost no effort to lift. The only downside is that it's a little harder to close, but I'd rather open the gate with one finger, take things

Pros
  • even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Some little things

They were pretty easy to install and now my tailgate lifts up.

Even when new I don't think my stock lift legs have ever fully raised my 2008 wrx tailgate. They were pretty easy to install and now my tailgate lifts up by itself! While I have to say it's a bit slow, it's better than pushing it by hand. Note: Upon opening the package, I noticed the ball seat was misaligned and was briefly apprehensive. I went to their website and in their FAQ they mention that this is not a problem. Once you attach the ball joint to the socket, the assembly will rotate intoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Feels good

  • Not the best
