Fitment was easy and they seem to fit, but when the trunk is opened it slows down halfway to a stop then suddenly accelerates and reaches the limit with such force that it literally shakes the whole car. They are much stiffer than the originals and require two hands to close the trunk. It is no longer possible to close the hatch only with the handle inside, for this you have to put both hands on the outside and press down. However, it is best not to support the sunroof with your shoulders when loading the machine. These appear to be the only non-OEM parts available. So if you don't mind them opening slowly and then with a lot of force, give it a try. My car is a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport (hatchback).
