Review on 🌬️ Silent Cooling Power: Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU Cooler with 250W TDP, BK022 by Stanisaw Nader ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'm not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

Honestly, I still don’t understand why everyone praises him so much, I have a noctua nh-d15 and it’s on an old system with 3770k, yes, there is less heat, but the fans are still alive and the noise from them is lower, well, the main noise at low rpm. The name of the be quiet brand does not fit with this cooler, someone will say hand it over under warranty, but I have nothing else to do, how can I lose up to a month without a PC? And the central fan is also unique, thanks for a very successful model. Will I buy something from be quiet? And what's the point in that? The difference with noctua was 500, it would be better to take it again. . 2 screws for Noctua are much more convenient and simpler, and the cover on top of Dark Pro does not provide any cooling benefits, but interferes with normal installation. (I would like to remove it, because it interferes with installation) When I set it once and forgot it, it doesn’t really bother me, but if I changed the processor or decided to clean it, then this is hell.

Pros
  • Equipment. Medium cooling. (9700kf@4.8 in toys up to 70 at rpm up to 60%).
Cons
  • Black color, yes I am that fan of strange colors from noctua. (But this is for a joke, it's not a minus) Noise - in my case, when using it, it is the central turntable that has problems, namely, the motor does not always start, it makes a strange noise. How is the equipment assembled - after being folded at noctua, is it some kind of low price or something? Central fan - not available for sale. It is very inconvenient to install, the plate that secures the tower itself is extremely difficult to screw on. Personally, because of this, the thermal paste got a little dirty around the socket space, and the processor itself too.
