Review on 🐠 BioCube Mini UV Sterilizer for Aquarium by Coralife by Dani Alvarez

I bought this mini UV sterilizer out of desperation about algae blooms in my Fluval spec V. I saw on the forum that another owner did this and was very pleased. So I took a chance and bought it with the recommended Pulaco 50 gph pump. After a lot of fiddling I found that the installation can work if you use the original manifold from the original pump. The UV steriliser is then connected to the Pulaco via a small inlet using the supplied rubber food hose. It was PIA, but it was worth it. In less than 24 hours it was almost invisible to semi-cloudy from grey-green in my aquarium. The new sterilizer definitely does the job and so far I'm very happy with it. I hope the bulb lasts long contrary to the 1 star reviews here. It's worth the risk. A picture of the tank is less than 24 hours after installation, and another picture shows it in the sump. Update 08/28: The device still works and the tank is crystal clear. The purchase is worthwhile. New picture: Tank runs 72 hours + UV sterilizer runs. I'll update in a while, hopefully it keeps working.
