First things first. Why does this manufacturer not provide their customers with enough hardware to install them? To make a stern kit you will need 6 of these anchors and only 4 are included in the kit! The design could be improved. With the front kit, they just had to make it wider so that another existing screw from the car could be used. (See image). On my 2016 XLE with the front kit, I had to trim the plastic base a bit as I wanted to use anchors instead of just screwing them into the plastic. In no case will it last over time. To make the rear kit I now have to go to the hardware store and get more anchors as I said. UPDATE: Installed rear kit using anchors I bought at a hardware store. To avoid removing the rod during installation, use a spring-loaded cordless drill extension that can be used at an angle. (See photos).
