Did its job and didn't break. Tighten the clamp, trim off the excess.
I don't know how much work this will take but I've made four shoes (8 clips total) and it's still ok. The first was my learning experience, the next 7 went much smoother. What I didn't understand is that the extreme lever is there to trim excess material off the clamp after tightening. It cuts pretty well and is a lot smoother than any other cutters you have. The tool paid for itself after one job, I would buy the same again although this does suggest it has a lifetime guarantee.
