I bought a combined installation kit (wiring harness, mounting plate, puller, etc.). Everything worked except for the plastic mounting kit and the front panel. The plastic was SUPER poorly made and didn't fit the VW Beetle as intended. It was close, but the plastic cast was poorly made, so it didn't fit. Also, the plastic guides didn't fit together properly. I had to complete the installation without the faceplate, which left an unfinished look. I know other kits work since I saw them. I took a risk and lost. I sent it back for a refund and I'm still waiting.
