Testing Tenda Nova with 2 plug-in extenders: I'm postponing the installation of mesh WLAN for a long time... why? Hoping ATT or TWC boxes improve? Hoping something will change? Have you tried cheaper alternatives? Our problem was that 2 rooms had bad signal because they had to go through the garage. We now have a full signal with fast Wi-Fi (same speed or faster than the cable company's wireless modems). Setup via Spectrum (Time Warner) was quick and hassle-free. Connected to the router with the included Cat5 cable. Download the app and register. This initiates the main draw. Then I connected the other 2 devices one by one to connect them via the app (they were registered and worked for 30 seconds each). The hardest part of the process: deciding where to connect the extenders and set up the WiFi. on all connected devices. Literally nothing to worry about. One of my favorite features is that you can control the system via the app and also turn off the light on each individual device.
