I am using an amplifier mounted on a mast between the glass antenna and the SDR RSP-2. usually installed outdoors. Didn't pay attention to the size before buying. Less than I expected based on previous purchases of similar items. Based on a fairly cursory test the amp actually delivers the advertised 15dB, although I only rated it on VHF/UHF as I use a separate antenna. for LF/MF/HF. Was surprised that it came with a power adapter - a real bonus as I figured I'd either have to buy it separately or figure out how to apply 115VAC next to the antenna. impressive for the price. FOLLOW-UP: Ordered a second block for my newly installed quad coil. Works perfectly.
