They are good
These candle wicks are good. It doesn't take much effort to keep them closed. Too much force will actually deform the base. A gentle squeeze at the tip where the wick meets the tongue is enough to clamp the wick in place. It's bigger than any other tongues I've used. I posted a photo to show they are slightly larger than an American dime. I will buy them again.
