I've spent too much money on other video capture devices that just don't meet my needs or only work with the software that came with them. Plug it in and it works fine. I use it in conjunction with a GANA Smart 3 Port HDMI Switch for camera input and media capture on an iMac. I am using the OBS video streaming software and the capture card can be easily configured in the software to provide video and audio input. The effect is very good, so I can use my DSLR camera for many normal zoom conference calls. It has a good resolution (1080p) and can work through my USB3 hub (the computer lacks ports to connect directly to all ports. This is of course an upgrade of the webcam that came with the laptop. Now I can do many considering other options for HDMI capture, I highly recommend this product!
