I bought this mirror as a set with an all black vanity for makeup that requires attention to detail. I read the reviews and found it worth it and worth it. It's absolutely true. It feels very durable, smooth to the touch and the mirror reflection is crystal clear. The touch function is very comfortable and not overly sensitive at all. I have no idea what people mean when they say he's so sensitive he shuts down when they don't want to. It's not even the entire mirror that's touch-activated (just the base), so you can easily adjust the view without turning off the lights. I had to clarify that. In any case, a worthwhile purchase. that despite 3 brightness levels none is bright enough. That's not a problem for me since my dressing table has a backlight, but if you're relying on this thing for a decent light source, you're out of luck.
