***I am updating this review below due to customer service.*** I received an email from the company offering to replace/refund charge cables as they cannot should overheat what. I value good customer service, always. I will order again as other reviews are positive. Maybe mine were defective. The cords worked well except for the heat and I would love to try them again! I bought these for my daughters who are constantly losing and/or breaking their charging cables. I gave them to each and removed the third. Firstly and in general they are ok and at a good price. They do not differ (better/worse) from those that are bought in the store except in price and convenience. After a few weeks of use, they begin to warm up. I unplugged one of them yesterday and it felt hot. Nothing that could burn you, but definitely worth mentioning. I unplugged the cable I removed and left it plugged in for a few hours and it was a normal temperature, leading me to believe it's a usage-related issue.
