This is a must have for me. When tracing rivers we need to know where the channel is and use GPS tracks to guide us through some sections due to the constant changes in river conditions. That was the difference for us and others who found themselves in a boat on their boats this summer. It kept my GPS battery charged, made it very easy to follow the GPS tracks and watch the river from our 18ft flat bottomed boat. Mounted directly to our aluminum console and was strong enough to last over 100 hours on the road. Good product.
