Well made mount.: Marine GPS Accessories

Ease of use of my GPS now with this mount. No more pulling the GPS module out of my bag on my UTV. It's right in front of me as I drive into the desert.

High strength and adjustability

I installed a Garmin marine mount on a Razor dash with an aluminum baseplate under the plastic. I connected the power cords to the tires under the hood so my Garmin Montana GPS is now always on (while riding) and the internal battery stays full for the occasional trail trip.

Awesome powered GPS holder!

I bought 2 of these. One for my snow thrower and one for my river boat. The mount is solid and holds my GPS VERY securely. I've changed the batteries in my GPS on and off over the years. It's great to have endless power supply from my boat/snowmobile battery. Installation couldn't be easier, just connect 2 wires to the battery and drill a few holes to attach the bracket.

Rzr 900/1000 Mount: Auto & Vehicle Electronics

Used to mount a 610T or 650 (can't remember exactly) to a RZR 900. Few spots I was able to mount stopped above the center of the speedo on the top flat surfaces. Tough enough to get the job done and overcome any water crossings. This seemed to be the quickest and cheapest option. All other options I considered were either double, no vision (when driving) or too low (with a square box under the speedometer).

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Negative Impression

It became very easy to follow the GPS tracks and .

This is a must have for me. When tracing rivers we need to know where the channel is and use GPS tracks to guide us through some sections due to the constant changes in river conditions. That was the difference for us and others who found themselves in a boat on their boats this summer. It kept my GPS battery charged, made it very easy to follow the GPS tracks and watch the river from our 18ft flat bottomed boat. Mounted directly to our aluminum console and was strong enough to last over 100…

  • Decent performance

Great sea mount for Montana 600

I have a couple of boats in different locations and they both need a new GPS. One boat had an old GPS navigator that gave up and on the other I used a battery powered Garmin Map 76S navigator with a small black and white screen. Replacing batteries and maintaining sufficiently charged rechargeable batteries has been a challenge. Needing a portable GPS navigator with a large color display and touchscreen, I chose the Montana 600. I also wanted to avoid the hassle of changing batteries (the 600…
