Review on 🔧 Dorman 740-179 Front Right Window Regulator for Ford and Lincoln Models by Mark Toth

I needed a replacement driver side front window regulator for my 2003 Expedition Eddie Bauer 4.6L. The failed unit on this truck would no longer raise or lower the window and the window was stuck. The original element failed due to some broken plastic parts that caused the cable to wind on the spool incorrectly. This item was easy to remove and replace and took about 45 minutes from start to finish. If you're watching a YouTube video, make sure you're watching the video for the 2003+ model, as the regulator has a different design for the 2002 and earlier models. As I do most of the maintenance and repair work on my vehicles, this was a pretty easy fix compared to other repairs I've done. I don't know what the durability of this item will be, but it's at least as good as the original.
