
After my first turbo cooker, the Galloping Gourmet, died after ten years of use, I decided to try this Fagor Halogen. I'm currently using it to make Frozen Spicy Wings (by Tyson) and Frozen Fish. So far, so good. It took me a while to get used to the bright (halogen) light from Fagor, but once I got the hang of it, it worked just like my first Galloping Gourmet. I missed the ease of quick cooking and easy cleanup. Just try wiping/cleaning any grease that may be spurting from your hot wings (or anything oily/greasy) off the heating element on top of the unit after you are done cooking. I avoid a lot of fat buildup by cooking on the bottom rack (underlined with aluminum foil for quicker cleanup). If I can use this device for ten years, then I will be satisfied :)
