Review on πŸ‘£ L LifeGrip Non Slip Traction Treads (10-Pack) - 6" x 28" - Best Grip Tape Grit for Outdoor Stairs - High Traction Abrasive Adhesive - Black by Scott Snyder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for smooth and rough concrete

I've used all of these on concrete steps. I had a rough 5 step set and a smooth 3 step set. Previously, I slipped and fell on the slippery set because I got wet from the moisture. I didn't want a repeat so I bought it. Before putting them in, I lightly scrubbed the steps with a brush and Dawn dish soap to remove any excess dirt or oil. Then I flushed it out with a hose. Took me 10 minutes to prepare, it was windy and a bit warm - they dried quickly. I then measured where I wanted them to go so everything looked straight. - where the front edge of the step is and which can be stepped on. At first I covered it with tread, but then changed my mind for fear someone might trip over it and not see the missing piece. So I cut off a small section with the tip of a pair of scissors and it doesn't look bad, better than someone getting hurt. It's been about 2 months because it rained and snowed a lot and they're still doing great. took a bit of getting used to kicking in the dark because they are black and used to be light gray (concrete) but now I'm used to it. I could even take a stencil and draw a vine or a greek key or something around it just because I'm artistic and can't help myself lol.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
