I have an old car, a 1978 El Camino that still has R12 Freon. I have a few canisters of Freon, but I couldn't find any hoses, hose kits, A/C manifold kits, etc. that would fit my system. I had to assemble the system. The 3 parts I used are below. I was able to add the required amount of freon. I've had a side mount that can knock on a Freon can for weeks and not a single Freon in the can has leaked. If you have an older system and want to stick with the R12, this is the setup I've put together.
