I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier S/C. I bought it for a promotion and to increase engine power. Since the guy has little motor vehicle experience, the installation was not difficult. I noticed an immediate increase in horsepower, throttle response and made the engine sound "healthier". I also noticed an increase of about 2mpg. However, as a quick tip, make sure you clean the MAF sensor before reinstalling it (this filter allows you to use the original MAF sensor and assembly) on the filter. I've learned the hard way that if you let your used and dirty sensor get more oil (because that filter is oil based) the fuel supply to the engine can be cut off, causing the car to potentially stall. I cleaned the sensor and it's been working great ever since.
