As a loyal automotive enthusiast and avid tester of car accessories, I was thoroughly disappointed with this product.The spare tire hoist was a hassle to install and once it was installed it barely worked. As a result of my tests, I determined that this product was not reliable and failed to securely hold the spare tire. The only pro I could find is that it was easy to access the spare tire, but that hardly made up for its lack of functionality. Save yourself the frustration and look for a different spare tire carrier..
