The levers holding the cable were flipped and the connection pressed
Magnets holding the cable to the temples of the sunglasses do not charge the glasses when connected. If I force the connection in reverse (fighting the magnets to keep the cord in place) the glasses charge, but that's obviously not the job and I can't sit here with the cord in place and Hold to fully charge. I had to send the cable back. Note: I have Bose "Alto" sunglasses.
