- - APPLICATIONS: I connected these antennas to a Netgear broadband modem (which is NOT a WiFi device). It connects to a 4G cellular network and then connects (via 1 Ethernet port) to a network switch, access point, directly to a PC, etc. to provide mobile Internet access. I hoped this product would help the device get a more stable 4G connection (like more bands on your cellphone). RESULTS: Helped a little. It was common to increase the connection strength by 1 bar or let the device (for example) hold a stable 3 bar when it fluctuated between 2 and 3 bar. - - GENERAL OPINION: If you want something **very compact** (ie I don't want to have big antennas with long cables running all over the place). These antennas are probably most useful in situations where your device barely connects. This can help create an almost unusable weak connection, just enough to get through.
