Review on 🍵 Gibson Alderton 2.3 Quart Green Tea Kettle by Eric Montgomery

i hate to leave a negative review because i liked the kettle at first sight and i was looking for a new red enamelled kettle and it was the right price. I always read reviews before making any purchase now so I was aware of people's negative thoughts about the item and most seem to think it's too light for a kettle. I agree and I found that the handle gets very hot. You have to use a glove even if you turn it off when the white blows. As for me, I was willing to dig into this because I liked the look of the kettle and it held almost twice as much water as my previous one. I bought anticipating new kitchen appliances including an oven so unfortunately I owned it a few days past the 30 day return period. The problem was that while it was on at 425 for only 30 minutes it was completely discolored from the heat of the oven, although I really like my new oven and I've attached a picture where I hope you can see where it's browning burned. . So at the moment I don't have a kettle for my morning tea as I've given my old goodwill. So be careful, the buyer is not only very light for his size, but can also be very dangerous.
