LOTS of leaks - water bottle makes no sense

I bought this water bottle for a trip abroad because I was concerned about the safety of the water there. I really wanted to like this product because I'm a LifeStraw fan, but unfortunately I thought this product was beautiful. well, no use. Pros: - Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find drinking through a straw difficult. Of course it's more tiring than drinking through a regular straw, but I didn't have to put in as much effort.' 'Was it relatively easy to put together?' 'And it hasn't stopped working for me yet. flows like crazy. There is a hole in the top for water to flow through and flow in both the open and closed positions. I also tilted it to the side a bit and it was still leaking so you don't have to turn it all the way to do this. - It drips through the mouthpiece! When you buy a LifeStraw water bottle, you probably really want to keep contaminants out of the water you drink. However, if dirty water comes out of the bottle right where you put your mouth, there's a good chance you still have Giardia from the creek water. It wasn't just my water bottle that was leaking. My friend bought the exact same water bottle a year ago and had the same problem as me. I assume all bottles have the same problem (and mine wasn't just a defect). - Okay, it was just a joke, but my friend opened his bottle on the plane and the water kept spurting out. it's like a fountain. It just doesn't stop. .I almost died! Anyhow, I think this water bottle was one of the worst I've ever had. If the purpose of a water bottle is to take water with you on the go, this is certainly not the case. I literally wasted almost half the water I brought with me each day and it soaked everything in my backpack (including my passport). Even though the purpose of using LifeStraw is to protect you from waterborne diseases and heavy metals, the fact that it seeped through the mouthpiece negates all the protection you get from the filter itself. To be honest, I think you'll have better luck carrying a regular water bottle and drinking from it using a regular LifeStraw straw.

Pros
  • SMART AND ECO-FRIENDLY DESIGN. Capacity 22 ounces. No disposable plastic water bottle is used for each fill! The user-friendly, easy-to-clean bottle and lid can be washed in the dishwasher after removing the filter.
Cons
  • Periodicity
