Owner of a 2005 Honda Element who bought it to replace a stock gas cap that had developed a crack. It fitted the intake perfectly, it seemed to seal well and fit snugly, but two days later I got a 'check fuel cap' warning on the dash. No matter how hard I closed it, the message stayed. I wish it would work, this lid seems much stronger and more durable than the factory lid.
