Just the right size for my small dogs who weigh 12 pounds combined. He's not as big as I hoped but for her he's perfect and that's the main thing. If you lay out all the parts so that the contents of the package match what you received, it will be very easy to assemble. It took 10 minutes to assemble and they both got up straight away. I didn't use the ladder that came with it because it was better suited for the hamster. Instead, after reading some reviews, I decided to order the Pet Gear Step and Ramp Combo from supertraX. It fits right under the step platform and is much wider and not as steep. It works great with the kennel. I also bought some garden chair seat cushions that are perfect for the bottom and top. Would recommend as it's a great sturdy dog house. Just make sure you read the measurements and get the size and strength for your dog's height and weight.
