Tombow Mono pencils are great. In fact, all Tombow pencils are great, but Mono is one of their lines specifically designed for drawing and they do well for that. The leads are strong even with soft pencils and you can sharpen them to very sharp points without breaking them in the sharpener. One odd thing is that the set contains a range from 6B to 2H, but jumps from HB to 2H without an H pencil; So keep that in mind if for whatever reason you really need an H-hardness pencil. The Mono Zero eraser is a real treat! These things are great for adding highlights or cleaning up very small, precise areas in a drawing. You can also buy replacement parts to extend the life of your eraser. The smallest sets of quality drawing pencils are around $7-$12, and a separately purchased Mono Zero eraser is $4-$6 depending on sales and material. As you get a set of high quality pencils AND a Mono Zero eraser, this set really is a fantastic deal.
