Oh my gosh, we're officially hooked on Dice Masters because of this starter set! What we didn't realize was that this was the strongest of the storylines (i.e. compared to Age of Ultron, etc.) in terms of character emphasis, card ability strength, and dice strength. We also bought Age of Ultron and were a bit disappointed with how weak it is. Unfortunately, Wiz Kids (created from Dice Masters) let its general audience down with the production in the long run, because this game could be epic while it was still going strong! It's hard to find people to play in this area and the creator of it lives in our town! In any case, if you just play randomly - try this starter pack! If you are a beginner, you should definitely buy this set before others. Boosters for this line are also the most expensive, but luckily you can easily find individual cards on other websites to build the rest of your deck. Advantages: great variety, strength, power and colors of the dice. Disadvantages: the quality of the dice. bad and sometimes misspelled, cards are bent in booster packs (strange as this is meant to be a collectible game) Relatively easy to learn and play. Some strategy, some chances with one roll of the dice. You can print your playmat online and save money in the process. Fun Fun Fun!
