I was looking for a large portable monitor to be able to display 2 PDFs for a sheet music reader. I'd really like it to be powered, but I've found that you can power this monitor with a portable USB power bank when your device isn't powered. When I connect it to my MacBook Pro, I don't have to power it. I love that when I connect it to my laptop I only have 1 cable (which was included) USB C to USB C. I also love that this screen comes with a cover/stand that magnetizes onto the screen! All in all, I don't think anyone will be disappointed after purchasing this screen. My kids also enjoyed using it to connect a Nintendo Switch.
