Freddy is a beautiful Catahoula that I recently adopted and his hobby is barking and barking at everything outside the window. And he's LOUD. I couldn't relax or watch TV until his trainer finally suggested a citronella collar. It was wonderful to see him flinch when he was sprayed for the first time. He realized he could still whine and make noises without causing trouble, but that didn't bother me at all. It has also helped us on walks so he doesn't bark at the neighbors, but most importantly it has helped me relax in my own home. I don't use the collar much anymore since he's stopped barking, but I'll still stop using it from time to time. There's nothing inhuman about it, they accidentally sprayed it on my face and it was uncomfortable. but not harmful! Charging and refilling the atomizer is not difficult at all and I love that it comes with refill packs! This is a very good correction tool and much cheaper than similar commercially available ones. This isn't a substitute for training, but it can definitely help as a reminder that your dog needs to behave in the best way possible!
