We recently cut the cable and are streaming everything by switching to Verizon FIOS Internet. So now we have 2 TVs plus 5 phones and 3 teenagers who play a lot. This put a lot of strain on the previous router, which honestly wasn't bad (ASUS AC1900). The big problem was that the TV in our master bedroom couldn't get a reliable enough signal to stream (it's the farthest point from the router). I read the reviews on this TP link and hoped it could handle the load. Not only does it cope with the strain, but it is also a problem. The TV in our master not only gets a great signal, but can also use the 5G band! It's not the cheapest router, but it's worth every penny!
