I ordered this last year (2020) to take my kayak fishing. Well finally I used it for the first time this month (September 2021). I opened the box and took out the screen and the glass covering the screen fell out. I put it back as it includes tape/glue to keep it in place. Take it in the water for the first time and it's obvious that a few drops of water will get moisture behind the glass and fog it up. Also, the part of the sonar that you lowered into the water got into the water where it shouldn't be. and that's after making sure the lid was fully tightened before hitting the water. Any product designed for use with water that leaks water in the electronics area is not a good product in my opinion.
