If you're looking for light calf compression, these are probably a good option. They were relatively easy to get on, probably because they are meant for light compression so they had some stretch. I wish they had more compression around the ankle area. Definitely more for the calf. But they did stay put on both ends. Even when slipping my foot into an ankle boot, the open toe/foot didn't roll inside the shoe. The material feels more like a heavy duty nylon so I suspect that they will eventually rip. But I didn't take tons of care when putting them on and they are still fully in tact so they have some durability.
