Review on Formula Energy 185/65 R15 92H summer by Wiktor Wojciechowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Dimension 185/65/15, calm driving (highway/city 70/30) I bought a car in a car dealership, the tires came from the factory, I went through 2 seasons on them (30,000 km with a tail) and bought another complete set of the Formula because . on the old one, I ruined the sidewalls of two wheels (one managed to be welded, the other was not, and I installed the camera), arranged the cost of a new set, these tires go quietly for two seasons and will pass again, from adventures, fell into deep pits masquerading as small puddles, at a decent speed , once hit so that the wiper switch turned on, but the tire withstood these misfortunes and hernias or breakdowns did not appear, on dry and wet asphalt, the rubber clearly keeps its course when maneuvering and slows down with dignity, the stop occurs clearly and the ABS is practically not involved, as for the merits described above, then, over time (by the end of the second season), the resistance to aquaplaning decreases significantly, the rubber slips more easily during a sharp start, it slightly (not critically) blows away in corners on wet pavement, and during heavy braking, the ABS is already clearly activated, but it brakes adequately, the braking distance does not seem to change, and the intensity of the ABS work depends on the type and condition of the road surface. In general, I think that tires are for a calm driving style, if this style is observed, the tires give comfort and a feeling not of driving on the road, but of smooth and easy movement on a sea vessel on a quiet water surface, as well as clarity and confidence when driving both in dry, as well as in rainy weather. We produce tires in 2022, they belong to the Pirelli company, a very successful model, the price does not bite and the quality pleases.

Pros
  • Impact resistance: perfectly keeps oncoming blows (in the tire tread) from potholes on the road. Softness: despite the shock resistance, it gives a feeling of smoothness. Road grip: high adhesion to asphalt, both dry and wet, on a primer, up to 50 km / h, they confidently hold and brake. Persistence: - to aquaplaning, allows you to maneuver and brake when driving during a downpour and a fairly flooded road, as well as to pass shallow, but rather long puddles at a reasonable speed; - to abrasion, they keep well, but still the tread leaves noticeably every season; - to a breakdown in a skid in a turn, I drove onto a bridge of 65 km / h on spring asphalt, turning almost three-quarters of a circle with a rise, went without complaints, however, if there was sand after winter, it would float 100%, in summer, it allows you to enter turns without stalling, at a reasonable and without noticeable speed drop, i. E. not higher than the limits established by traffic rules and not contrary to the existing laws of physics; - to slippage at the start, at first I thought that the car was equipped with an anti-slip system; - when braking, it instantly responds to pressing the brake pedal without triggering the ABS (there is the opposite feeling, I thought that the ABS was faulty), Noise: not annoying, but present, if you do not listen, then imperceptibly.
Cons
  • The sidewall is quite soft (the degree of strength is average), it tore the sidewall twice, both times, like a wood-holing bird, it drove a turn and clung to the curb with its rear wheel (in both cases, it was not in a very good mood and cursed, so it was punished). On dry pavement, if there is sand of fine or medium fraction, then the tread is clogged and hits the arches and thresholds, also sand on the pavement, minus handling - blows away in a turn (but this is a minus rather due to meticulousness when identifying shortcomings).

Different pros: Softness. Price. Took in April 2022 - with delivery came out 10350r. As for me - less noise than Bridgestout Turanza. Has cons: About. that this is Pirelli, it is not written on the tire.

Holds the road well on dry pavement, hydroplaning does not occur at reasonable speeds.

Has pros: good braking Acceptable Grip Inexpensive Its cons: Noisy, hard (although it is possible for our roads +)
