I bought a mirror to replace the suction cup. I used RainX as some reviewers suggested - I love RainX and use it on glass shower doors - and it resulted in the backing peeling off in a few spots. Come on it's okay, my husband uses it for shaving occasionally, not to save lives or treat cancer, I think I'll put it on the wall. I washed the wall with alcohol, glued the hooks with glue according to the instructions and even waited until morning to hang a mirror on it. Took a shower, hung a mirror on a hook, went outside and heard a crack! Like the mirror hitting the tiled shower floor, the hook and all. I give it 5 stars for impact resistance but 1 star for everything else. piece of trash.
