Nothing special except that after I replaced the overly long cable modem cable that came with our service with this one, we had random daily outages, almost hourly with the internet . After consulting the technical support of the service, we were able to confirm the packet loss and connection failure on their part. The only thing that has changed compared to before is the interchangeable cable. Not worth sending back for the money. That might not be a problem for cable TV, but in the age of video conferencing and telecommuting, it really isn't worth trying again. How do I know it's a cable? I replaced it again with a cable from the cable company and it hasn't disconnected for 2 days in a row. So find out. Why? Your guess is as good as mine, unless there's an internal break in the wire or bad wire connections, it looks like it should work, but it doesn't.
