Review on πŸ’§ Brita BRDPFS Water Filter System - Enhanced Filtration for Optimal Purification by Paul Rose

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The simplest and smallest undercounter filter Britta

This is the simplest and most compact Britta kitchen sink filter they make. At the time of writing this review, there were no replacement filters for it. I think stocking up on them is key to a system like this. Once the filter is full, it must be replaced or water quality can deteriorate as old toxins are released back into the water. Otherwise, a bypass system would be handy so you can bypass the filer if you don't have a replacement on hand or can't get one because it's out of stock. Otherwise you will have to disconnect the filter. Another design might work where you can remove the worn out filter but the housing will still let water through even if you haven't put the new filter back in. This simple all-in-one filter saves space because you can install it on the side of the lower sink cabinet and remove it from the bottom of the cabinet. There is only one replacement filter. However, for better filtering, I would also look at their other multi-cartridge systems that might offer better performance. For me this is a good choice for singles or little used faucets.

Pros
  • 6 MONTHS FILTER LIFE: Keeps harmful contaminants out of your water and only needs to be changed twice a year.
Cons
  • Long lead time
