Review on πŸ“š Canson ONE Art Book Paper Pad: Smudge Resistant Sketch Book with Wire Binding - 67 lb, 5.5 x 8.5 Inch, 80 Sheets by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very thin paper, doesn't last long. Thanks, "Kanson "; This brand still lets me down. :/

I needed a notepad/diary to take notes and I picked up books like this one from "PRO ART" and found that they were purchased from this company. My Bible (not a study Bible, just a regular one) has such thin pages. I use regular ink and (screams) Prismacolor pens for notes, I have to skip a page. I'm not kidding: I don't even use gels (I did and they spilled not only on the back but on the NEXT page) but even with Jetstream fine print (which I can and seems to write in my Bible). not through) since SOMEONE"shines through" on the back of the page. Prisms (regular "firsts") don't show through, but you can CLEARLY see the color if you turn the page. The spikes are worn out after 10 years, but THEY ARE STILL HERE ON MY SHELF! I can still read what I wrote and clearly see the maps and charts (which were probably gel pens back then). no bleeding Nothing special except what's inside: my notes and little sketches that I need and STILL USE). So I'm keeping this, but I know I have to leave a blank page between each sheet. I appreciate the sizing and I think there's no need to worry about bleed through (I'm just assuming it will leak and I'll need 2 sheets for each 'note'). If I'm taking a lot of good notes, I can glue the two pages together so the "turning" is more natural. But I would never buy that again. I can't submit the exam for him. I'll keep looking for "PRO ART" which were in the same price range but MUCH thicker sheets and they're still around (both a moleskin size and a big one like this).

Pros
  • Smudge proof and erasable
Cons
  • Very expensive
