The device has a robust metal housing. I switch between three computers and it does the job perfectly. I only use it for keyboard/mouse and no video. Why am I not using video? Nothing to do with this KVM - I just like switching between video inputs with my 4K TV remote as one of my devices is an old video game that doesn't run over KVM. I use this with the following three computers and it works well with each: - My main PC running Zorin OS (Debian/Ubuntu based distro) - My work laptop (newer Lenovo ThinkPad model) - Raspberry Pi 4 Model B ( 4 GB) I rated it 5 stars but if I could I would put 4 and a half. This is because KVM ignores keyboard/mouse input and requires a power cycle about every 45 to 60 days. This is a minor annoyance compared to the dozens of times I switch keyboard/mouse between computers every day. Overall I am very happy with this device and it manages three devices perfectly between one video source and I still have a spare input I will need to add another device in the future.
