My 60lb Rescue Mix gets picky and finicky sometimes and doesn't want to eat the norm. So after buying multiple crumble type food toppers and some other similar food additives I gave up. I figured when she got hungry she'd eat as usually she eats with no problem. A friend of mine had a Rescue with similar type issues and found the Beneful Small Breed Wet Food was the perfect thing. Beneful doesnt overload with additional calories that aren't needed in combination with choice of regular food as its intended for small breeds. Plus it wets the dry food just enough to give it some extra or additional texture and worked well for her pup. So I bought this item and did the same.I look at it like this.everyday my FurBaby eats (for example) Chicken and Veggies and she loves it, absolute fave. But sometimes she wants a little gravy with her chicken veggie meal just to spice things up lol. She appears to enjoy the different Purina Beneful Small Breed Flavors and only eats it once ot twice a week. At that frequency and the price point on Walmart I can afford to indulge her and she's happy. Her other favorite is her dry food with coconut oil or natural salmon oil. She let's me know which one she's in the mood for as she'll get the bottle off the shelf or bring me the small Benefit can lol. No digestive issues or changes in other such things. 🙂
