I give this case 3 stars. It's a decent case, but only if you're willing to not follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions. This case is a good 4-4.5 stars if you have an original 2016 Raspberry Pi 3B. It matches the older 3B perfectly. BUT Flirc hasn't done anything to change the design of this case for the 3B+ other than provide a thinner thermal padding. Which turns out to be too thick for use with the Pi 3B+ anyway. The only way to use this case with the 3B+ is to ditch the included thermal pads and use a decent amount of thermal paste. I used Arctic MX-4. Everything seems fine, but the distance between the cooling column and the processor is in doubt. It runs much cooler than the Raspberry Pi Foundation's official fully enclosed plastic case. Pros: - Looks good. - Great for the original Raspberry Pi 3B (2016) - Good thermal performance with the original Pi 3B. Cons: - YES. Will not properly fit Raspberry Pi 3B+ with included thermal pads. You must use your own thermal paste to use this case as designed. after few years. Although at first glance it looks and feels good. This is a downside of all soft touch plastics and I really think companies should stop using them.
