Amazing case! Thermal results below!

I loved the Flirc Gen 1 case (made for rpi2) and had to get this update when I saw it! I love the new finished product! Here are the improvements over the Gen1 case: * It's slightly shorter * Better SD card access * Larger (and properly positioned) heatsink * Better ventilation on the bottom (holes, not slots) * Defined cutouts for USB and Ethernet ports * Convenient I replaced the thermal pad that came with the case with the Fujipoly Ultra Extreme XR-m (17.0 W/mK) thermal pad to improve heat…

Raspberry Pi 3B+ DOES NOT FIT CORRECTLY

I give this case 3 stars. It's a decent case, but only if you're willing to not follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions. This case is a good 4-4.5 stars if you have an original 2016 Raspberry Pi 3B. It matches the older 3B perfectly. BUT Flirc hasn't done anything to change the design of this case for the 3B+ other than provide a thinner thermal padding. Which turns out to be too thick for use with the Pi 3B+ anyway. Quality case and excellent product support

I'm writing this to take a comprehensive look at my ordering process and thought process. I've seen this case before when looking at cases for my Raspberry Pi 3 and 3B+, but didn't have a chance to test it until recently. Like many others, it's well built and has an inner case that acts as a heatsink, dispersing heat evenly throughout the case. Beautiful case, effective temperature management

I bought this to store my Raspberry Pi 3 B media center for a number of reasons. It looks good and acts as a passive heatsink for the CPU. I use LibreElec on my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ and connect to video, music and picture shares on my home network. As a result, it works pretty hard when using the Raspberry Pi.
