I used this as a vertical joint filler in my new PE Canopy and it adhered and dried perfectly. It took about 20-30 minutes to "glue" and install where it stopped seeping, but it filled in the gaps in the top corners near the roof like I needed and seems strong to be enough to fill the columns. I don't know how it will hold up in repair if you put pressure on it, but it did what I needed. After 18 hours it is a kind of rubber. Not hard like super glue which doesn't stick or dry at all on polyethylene.
