I connected them to my Odroid-C2, installed gpsd, added /dev/ttyACM0 as a device in gpsd.conf and restarted this service and its task . Same setup procedure with my RPI 4. Using them I can use ads-b's MLAT setup (exact length/width/height required). They have relatively low power consumption (I've seen less than 150mA), but they don't add up too much. many SDR dongles along with these GPS devices in 4 USB ports, especially if you use BIAS TEE to control a remote LNA, otherwise you will get weird USB dropouts.
