The top of this steamer is not 2 liters.

I couldn't decide between this pot and the 3 liter pot. I really liked this one the best. Since 2 quarts were said I figured it was close but quite a lot. I put 5 cups of milk in the top of the steamer and it came to within 1/2 inch of the top of the pot. I measured the distance just to be sure. I make yogurt and stir very little to keep me going.
