Review on 🐾 Merry Pet 2-in-1 Configurable Pet Crate and Gate, Medium: The Perfect Solution for Versatile Pet Containment by Amy Moore

I like this pen for its size and looks. If it hadn't been scratched I would have been happy. Two main areas of damage: The very heavy top clearly has mechanical scratches - parallel lines running left to right across the top - 3-5 or more, about 3/4 inch apart. The other area is a small patch on the front. Doors and the worst is next to the latch on the wooden frame surrounding the door - a DEEP, LONG scratch. I contacted the company and emailed pictures (because I couldn't speak to anyone on the phone) and a blanket response was "Contact Revain" because that's where "you bought it". They were not interested at all. A couple of calls from Revain and I was 'cleared' as best I could because Merry Pet no longer stock these. I wanted to exchange it for a duplicate or just return the two faulty parts, was able to but obviously not under the circumstances.My advice?This is a crappy shoot as I see others have also been damaged upon unboxing.Pen but not for a big sturdy dog I guess, or maybe not for an aggressive dog .adopted it straight away and was shocked by it.She is 4 years old - 15# semi-poom/semi-mysterious meat and a rather soft dog.She always slept in a white plastic enclosure - 3 x 3 feet but she had to be moved inside ogen before she went to bed. For some reason, after the first night, she voluntarily goes to this one. It's a little big for her (in height of course) but I felt like she was very used to the previously big. I have a full size bed for her (which she used in the colder months from the original plastic) in the back as you can see from a photo and she still uses it. I just wish this company had good quality control and customer support - they don't on both fronts.
