I have used the best private label brands and in 45 years this is by far the best. I live in Reno, it's the same chaos as everywhere, hot dry summers, high winds in the valley that can sandblast the color. Work, cold, snow, snowmelt and dirt roads, 5000 feet means more UV exposure. The trick is to follow the directions, wash the finish, making sure to use a strong bristle brush, very warm water, and soap. and fat cutter or Dawn Platinum, after drying with a sponge apply a fairly thick layer to the pad, after an hour wipe off with a lint-free cloth. leave to dry for two days, wipe off dust and repeat the first treatment. I wait 2 more days and do the 3rd treatment to make sure it has dried very well twice. My finish looks new, repels moisture and after 5 months I'm going to coat it lightly to make it last a year. , use it on my 2008 BMW x5 which I bought in 2013 and completely refurbished. The finish has not bleached well with this product and this treatment method keeps my finish looking new. The best part is that the bottle, bought in 2013, which I am currently replacing.
